Pants n.

Pants n. an academic term of near-universal use, an objective qualification of a work of narrative or otherwise which signifies that the work in question is, to be perfectly honest, not very good.


Most of science fiction is pants, really, isn’t it?

The academic community is in unanimous agreement that the “Game of Chess” section of T.S. Eliot’s The Waste Land is kinda pants.
